Burwell Material Handling rents forklifts, aerial lifts, warehouse equipment and compact construction machines by the day, the week or the month. Every unit is inspected before it leaves and arrives ready to work. If something goes wrong on site, the same technicians who service our customers' fleets are the ones who come out.

How Rentals Work

  1. Tell us the job. Load, surface, working height, dates.
  2. Get a quote. We confirm availability and rates for your branch and your term.
  3. Delivery. The unit arrives inspected and ready to work. We can deliver or you can pick up.
  4. Support until it goes back. Factory-trained technicians handle service during the rental. When the job ends, we pick it up.

Short-term and Long-term Rentals

Short term covers breakdowns, peak season, a one-off project or a customer audit. Daily and weekly terms, fastest path back to full capacity.

Long term covers a new shift, a new contract or a building you are still figuring out. Monthly terms let you run the machine before you commit to owning it, and the rental tells you what you actually need.

Rental FAQ

How fast can I get a rental?

Availability depends on the machine and your branch. Tell us your dates when you request the quote and we will confirm what we can have on site and when.

Do you deliver, or do I pick up?

Both. Delivery is available from every branch. Pickup works if you have the trailer and the rating for it.

What does it cost to rent a forklift?

Rates vary by class, capacity, term and location. Request a quote with your dates and we will price it for your branch.

Can I rent for one day?

Yes. We rent daily, weekly and monthly.

What happens if the equipment breaks down during my rental?

Call us. Our technicians service the unit on site. Rentals are supported by the same service organization that maintains our customers' fleets.

Do you rent to companies outside your service area?

Contact your nearest branch and we will tell you what we can cover. Our network spans locations across the U.S.

Is operator training included?

Training is offered separately. Several branches run OSHA-compliant operator training. Ask when you book.

Can I buy the machine I rented?

Ask your rep. If the rental is doing the job, converting to a purchase is a normal conversation.
