Why Rent from Burwell in Ft. Myers

Local branch, not a call center. Parts on the shelf, service bays, road trucks and a rental yard, all on Warehouse Road.

Rough terrain forklifts in the fleet. 6,000 to 8,000 lbs. on tires built for sand, fill and nursery rows, not polished concrete.

Rental brands you know. Bobcat, Genie, JLG and Haulotte.

Service behind the rental. Factory-trained technicians support the rental fleet directly, so a breakdown is not a call to a third party.

One source for the whole site. Warehouse forklifts and outdoor lifts on the same contract, from the same branch.

FAQ

What equipment can I rent in Fort Myers, FL?
Forklifts in Classes 1 through 5 from 3,000 to 55,000 lbs., rough terrain forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, vertical mast lifts, articulating and straight boom lifts up to 185 ft., mini excavators, track loaders, trench rollers, ride-on floor scrubbers, utility terrain vehicles and manual pallet jacks.

Do you deliver to Naples, Cape Coral and Punta Gorda?
Yes. Delivery runs across Lee, Collier, Charlotte and Hendry counties. Delivery is quoted with the rental.

What do you rent for nursery and agricultural work?
Rough terrain forklifts from 6,000 to 8,000 lbs. are the workhorse for nursery rows and unimproved ground. Telehandlers, track loaders, mini excavators and utility terrain vehicles round out the outdoor fleet.

How long can I rent equipment for?
Daily, weekly and monthly terms. Longer projects usually price better on a monthly rate, and we can talk about a purchase if the need turns out to be permanent.

What is the largest forklift you rent?
Class 5 pneumatic tire units reach 55,000 lbs., which covers container, building material and heavy machinery work.

What is the tallest lift you rent?
Straight boom lifts reach 185 ft. of working height, with or without a jib. Articulating boom lifts reach 150 ft.

Do I need certification to operate a rented forklift or lift?
Yes. OSHA requires operator training and evaluation for powered industrial trucks under 29 CFR 1910.178(l), and ANSI A92 requires training plus machine-specific familiarization for aerial lifts. We provide familiarization on the unit at delivery. Operator certification remains the employer's responsibility.

Where is your Fort Myers rental branch?
4051 Warehouse Road, Ft. Myers, FL 33916. Phone (239) 210-0000. Parts, service bays and a rental yard are all on site.

What if the rental equipment breaks down?
Call the branch. Our factory-trained technicians support the rental fleet directly, so you are not routing a service call through a third party.

Do you rent to homeowners or only to businesses?
Contact the branch. Requirements vary by machine class and by insurance, and larger units are generally restricted to trained commercial operators.
