Equipment Rental in Mobile, AL

Forklifts, aerial lifts and compact construction equipment, ready when your job is.

Burwell Material Handling rents from the I-65 service road north of downtown Mobile, which puts the interstate at the end of the driveway. That puts our fleet inside an easy drive of Saraland, Satsuma, Chickasaw, Prichard, Semmes, Theodore, Irvington, Bay Minette, Spanish Fort, Daphne and Fairhope.

One phone call covers the whole list. Warehouse forklifts, 185-foot boom lifts, telehandlers, mini excavators, floor scrubbers and utility vehicles all come from the same branch, on the same paperwork, with the same service team behind them.

Why Rent from Burwell in Mobile

Local branch, not a call center. Ashland is inside the Richmond metro. Equipment, parts and technicians are all here.

On the interstate. Deliveries run north to Saraland and Bay Minette or south to Theodore and the port without fighting downtown.

Bobcat material handling and compact equipment, with Genie and JLG aerial units in the rental fleet.

Service behind the rental. Factory-trained technicians and a parts operation. If a rental unit has a problem, the same branch fixes it.

Terms that match the work. Daily, weekly and monthly, with rent-to-own conversations available when a short-term need turns into a long-term one.

One source for the whole site. Warehouse forklifts and outdoor lifts on the same contract, from the same branch.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed weekends. If you need a Saturday start, call ahead and we will tell you what is possible.

How long can I rent equipment for?
Daily, weekly and monthly terms. Longer projects usually price better on a monthly rate, and we can talk about a purchase if the need turns out to be permanent.

Do I need certification to operate a rented forklift or lift?
Yes. OSHA requires operator training and evaluation for powered industrial trucks under 29 CFR 1910.178(l), and ANSI A92 requires training plus machine-specific familiarization for aerial lifts. We provide familiarization on the unit at delivery. Operator certification remains the employer's responsibility.

2450 East I-65 Service Rd N, Mobile, AL 36618. Phone (251) 479-2909.

What if the rental equipment breaks down?
Call the branch. Our factory-trained technicians support the rental fleet directly, so you are not routing a service call through a third party.

Do you rent to homeowners or only to businesses?
Contact the branch. Requirements vary by machine class and by insurance, and larger units are generally restricted to trained commercial operators.
